Hervé Gaillet - Columbine Code

  • Paris, 1928. Writers, all candidates for the presidency of the Société Des Gens de Lettres, are found dead.

Alongside Commissioner Fortalembert, novelist Pierre Benoit leads an investigation into the Parisian literary world that leads him to run for the presidency of the SGDL himself. However, as the investigations progress, it becomes apparent that other interests could be at stake at the international level and lead to the use of much more implacable criminal methods...

Pierre Benoit (1886 – 1962), who was himself authentically president of the Société Des Gens de Lettres in 1929, leads with Code Ancolie the third of his investigations, in a text once again mixing fiction and historical reality.
