Jacqueline Duvary - Before Winter Comes

  • Can you still have a love life at sixty or should you be content to be a witness to others' lives? This is what Angèle, recently retired, wonders as she sees the emotional solitude she finds herself in after all these years, without really being aware of it, too busy as she was with her work and her children whom she raised alone after a failed marriage.

And now that her life has been put on hold, she anxiously wonders what she will do with the years she has left, because although she still feels young, the pangs of time past seem like an insurmountable barrier to her hope of changing the course of her destiny. However, defying her pathological shyness, she agrees to go on a trip with a stranger she met recently and against all expectations, during this journey that had all the ingredients to become a nightmare, she will meet a couple of women thanks to whom her life will take an unexpected direction that will reveal her to herself.
