Michael Coulanjon
Born on June 12, 1981 in Nevers, a happy childhood, Michaël Coulanjon spent a school life without problems in Vitrolles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, until obtaining his baccalaureate in mechanical engineering technology sciences, with a microtechnology option. Very quickly, he decided to work for the petrochemical industry and a more or less happy period of ten years in different companies followed. In 2010, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and stopped all activity. He wrote Voyage d'un schizophrène: En passant par Le Caire... In 2013, the vagaries of life made him meet an extraordinary woman; of course, he fell in love with her from the first hour... He then felt he had a poet's heart and wrote a series of poems dedicated to a Muse.
Michaël Coulanjon - Journey of a schizophrenic: Passing through Cairo...
Testimony. The journey of a man in his thirties, struck by a complex and unknown illness: schizophrenia. Through two crises and an initiatory journey that will take him from the heart of France to Egypt, we find a complex character, on edge, in search of identity, spirituality and human encounters. A unique and rare testimony of a user of psychiatry diagnosed as "paranoid affective schizophrenic with tendencies towards mystical delusions" by three different psychiatrists and nevertheless totally lucid during his crises. Two years on the edge of a knife, trials after trials, which lead on the path to a personal achievement.
